I have to admit that my memory - long term - is not always the best. That might be the reason why I love capturing moments. Don't get me wrong, my memory is fine, but when your life is filled with multiple countries, new people and different cultures it can sometimes make it hard to remember what took place, where and when. Some moments you only recall when you see them in front of you in the form of a photograph. 

 

One photo can bring joy for the rest of one's life. It can even alter the way you thought something took place. And capturing that one specific moment can be a task for the photographer - not can, it is - but when the magic and innovation come together, the end result can be magnificent!

 

For me, every day is filled with new moments that will never appear in quite the same way again. I want to capture those moments. Taking photos of animals is my passion, but I often find myself capturing some of the beautiful moments that nature has to offer. And then there are people, an area that I keep finding more and more interesting.  

Only time will tell what will come with that.
